Accommodations

Lodging in San Diego is not inexpensive, particularly in the summertime near the beach or bay. But don’t be discouraged, there are ways to find affordable accommodations. Small cottages for rent on residential properties, bedrooms for rent in nearby neighborhoods, etc. can be found on Airbnb and similar websites.

If you won’t have a car and want a hotel within walking distance, The Dana Mission Bay is across the street from the class (5-10 min walk) and offers a 15% discount for attendees of Marina Village Conference Center, our venue. You must call the number on the website below to receive the discounted rate.

Another walkable option, although pricier, is The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay.

You can also use the following booking websites to find other accommodations: Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, Momondo, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz, Hotwire, Airbnb, Wimdu, & Hostelworld. In placing your search, use the address of the venue:
1936 Quivera Way, San Diego CA 92109

About Lisa Gritton

Lisa Gritton has been a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner for over 30 years. A native San Diegan whose interests have always tended toward natural healing, Lisa earned degrees in psychology and metaphysical studies. Earlier in her career she worked in the areas of health, fitness and nutrition. She studied Sports and Therapeutic massage, becoming a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner in 1988. Lisa’s massage practice included working with world class athletes, as well as working in physical therapy, medical clinics and spa resorts. Her continuing studies and a personal health crisis led her to Jin Shin Jyutsu, where she found her love and passion. It stimulated her thirst for knowledge and understanding of the mysteries of the human body, mind and spirit and their role in Nature and the Universe.

For over 30 years Lisa has been studying, practicing, teaching self-help and serving as the San Diego Area Organizer of classes in the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. Lisa was fortunate to have experienced seven years of week-long intensive sessions with Mary Burmeister, the founder of Jin Shin Jyutsu, for which she is forever grateful.
